Mahnum is a recent master’s graduate from the Goldman School of Public Policy. At Goldman, she studied sustainable development, examining it through the multidisciplinary perspectives of policy, engineering, and business. Her interest in sustainable transportation sparked when she conducted research on Pakistan’s electric vehicle policy for a memo now published in the Berkeley Public Policy Journal. Since then, she has supported several organizations, including the World Resources Institute, BMW, and Bosch, on initiatives aimed at promoting electrification, smart charging, vehicle-to-grid integration, and battery waste management. Outside of work, Mahnum loves hiking, road trips with friends, and Formula 1.
